The studio is founded on international experience working on a unique range of projects for companies who lead in their fields of expertise.
The studio works closely with Karakusevic Carson Architects on major housing regeneration projects in London. The office has pioneered a community driven approach to design where residents are fully engaged in the design process and help to define the future of their own neighbourhoods.
Herzog & de Meuron were commisioned to design the new extension to the Tate Modern Gallery in London. Callum Pirie worked for Herzog & de Meuron on the detail design and construction drawings when their local office opened in 2009. The project is due to open in June 2016 and will be one of the most important civic buildings comissioned in London in many years.
Canary Wharf is an extremely successful business district that has built a community of skyscrapers on the isle of dogs in London, an area of unique industrial and war-torn history. Callum Pirie worked on site with Adamson Associates who are hugely experienced in the design and delivery of this particular building typology.
The studio has renovated private homes and converted historic buildings into new apartments in Barcelona working closely with local architects to produce designs that are inspired by the industrial past and craftsmanship of Barcelona.
